Here at our microbrewery underneath the Hillsborough Hotel in Sheffield, Yorkshire, we brew a number of beers, ranging from Traditional Bitters and Stouts to Summery IPA’s and Dark Wheat Stouts.We sell both Cask ale and bottled ale.Cask ale or cask-conditioned beer is the term for unfiltered and unpasteurised beer which is conditioned (including secondary fermentation) and served from a cask without additional nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure. Cask ale may also be referred to as real ale. Bottle conditioned beers are unfiltered so the final conditioning of the beer takes place in the bottle, the additional fermentation gives the beer natural carbonation.
